The Application and Approval Process
CPO is committed to maintaining a safe, supportive environment for clients and volunteers alike. All prospective volunteers go through a three-step process before serving.
- Volunteer Application: The first step is completing the volunteer application, which begins the screening process.
- Background Check: CPO conducts a thorough background check on all volunteers through Protect My Ministry. This step is required for anyone involved in client services, and the scope of the check may vary depending on the role.
- Orientation: Volunteers who clear the background check attend an orientation covering CPO’s policies and procedures for their designated area. At the close of orientation, volunteers sign a document confirming their understanding and agreement to comply with those policies.
