BrightCourse is an online learning platform that provides evidence-based, up-to-date, and relatable parenting and life skill classes. CPO uses BrightCourse to deliver their classes to clients via their phone or email. Videos are around 20 minutes long and end with simple quizzes.

Up to five classes per week are sent to clients each Thursday. The number of completed classes a client completes each week determines the number of new classes they will be sent. For example, if a client completes three out of five classes, then on Thursday, when staff are issuing new classes, that client will be sent two classes. Client may request certain classes or topics by calling CPO staff. Classes do expire every 30 days. If classes expire clients may request new ones be sent. 

CPO also integrates BrightCourse classes and curriculum into weekly support groups and workshops. This allows clients to learn about important topics in a supportive environment and to ask questions of CPO staff.

BrightCourse classes are available to all CPO clients for life. Clients who only utilize remote BrightCourse classes in order to shop the boutique are welcome to utilize points for items in the boutique, but are not eligible for fuel and gas cards, educational scholarships, doula services, rent and utility assistance, or transportation assistance until they become an active client by participating in support groups and or counseling.
